Otaku no Musume-san Chapter 63

The final chapter of Otaku no Musume-san! For those wondering what we'll be doing after this, I'll be making another blog post about that later on.

I honestly never expected I'd be doing this series, but I'm glad Necro and I chose to pick it up. At some point I will get around to finally translating those omake pages from the full volumes.

    khaledias: Yes, Souta is Haruka's and Kouta's son. She took advantage of him when he was down and they had sex (see chapter 60, page 26 onwards. After the kiss, there was a fade to black). Even the cover of chapter 60 showed a future Haruka with the same hairstyle with Kouta, along with Kanau's silhouette next to Kanau, implying that they all live together happily ever after.

    I seriously can't see how or when was Sakura able to rape him (or the other way around, if even possible) even if you guys say it was after that kiss XDDD

    its finally over but for some reason once I read the omake to the final chapter I wasn't quite satisfied, maybe because on that last line that read out:

    To NEXT Otaku-no-Musume-san?

    It should have been longer and explained more about haruka's fate in my opinion.

    Oh, God... those last pages makes me want to find the mangaka and throttle him until he makes more chapters... T_T
    It just can't be left like that!!! I suppose that an awesome ending that leaves you wanting more is the best type of ending one could ask for. I wish I could thank the mangaka... and choke him a little >.>
    Obviously, thank you for all your work up to this point (and beyond if you choose so). You've done a great service to us. I wouldn't even blame you if you throw in the towel after this. Thanks again!

    Wow, that ending. That omake. Before the omake, I was a little disappointed. After it, I ended up confused. Well not so much anymore. It's pretty obvious. "You're still single, too". Yep, Kouta was "pear'd". Again. Poor bastard. Let's see, she disappeared for 2 years. Nine months of pregnancy, and by the 15 month they begin to learn how to walk. And look a those eyebrows. And on page 20 he says he'll "be working in the same company as the winner of this year's manga Taisho is". Almost undeniable. That kid is Kouta's and he got pear'd by Haruka. She probably doesn't know he'll be the next assisstant. What a shame. But I expected one last trolling by Stu Hiro, so I'm not shocked.

    To all the people saying it should've been longer (to explain Haruka's fate);
    No, it didn't have. Maybe if the author had cut a few pages of Kanau's pajama party, he could've shed some light into it. But hey, Stu Hiro do what Stu Hiro do. And that is trolling. I wanna think that they hooked up later on, but the fact that Haruka said to her sister, "You're still single, too" makes me think that Kouta doesn't know about the child. Otherwise, he would've made things right and given his kid a proper home. But Haruka was too heartbroken about being rejected. Losing her lover's affection to a kid (anybody see a parallel to Nozomi having sex with Kouta after Chihiro chose lolis over her, here?). Ultimately, I doubt she wanted to become pregnant. Maybe she's just waiting for Kanau to be of age to reveal everything to Kouta. Who knows?

    P.S. I still hate the "now former" landlady. Fuck her and her lolicon husband.

    Well, I guess I managed to ride the waves and finished the manga. There were certainly some highs, but a lot of lows as well. Honestly, I didn't find the last chapter all that satisfying, but at least it explained what happened to most of the characters.

    Anyway, I would just like to thank you and everyone else working this series very much for all your hard work. It really is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for the hard work, and for making us, english readeres been able to see such a wonderfull manga. I really liked the ending, but there were some rush. I think he did a great job and opened a window for a next serie. Man, Kouta is one heel of a guy, 2 girls 2 kids, and with only one shot each. I think it is implied that he will be with Haruka, and, even if I like the land lady more, she deserved it and they will make the eyebrow clan stronger in the manga side of the force.

    @Anonymous from 3:23 Thanks for mentioning it. I didn't notice it and was about to ask. The only thing I can say is that that guy has some kind of superpower to get any woman pregnant after doing it only once...

    I hope the last line doesn't end in a joke, since I'd love to see Kouta's face after learning that he is a father again and that he will be assisting Haruka with her manga.

    Al overall good ending, but the print volume should ship with a bonus chapter chronicling Kouta & Haruna's get together.

    Something more than a frame of the two walking together in ch 60 and Kouta becoming her new assistant, without either knowing it yet.

    Thou finding that the two banged while Kouta was out of if kinda pisses me off. Not that they did, but because Kouta was such an idiot, that he couldn't figure out her feelings after that.

    a really amazing ending chapter! Its been a long time since I read something that good. And the plot twists (or trolling, as you prefer)... spectacular!!!!
    I was kind of disappointed too until the omake and then...BANG...baby Souta appears.

    Thank you very much for translating it, otherwise we here from Brazil would never hear about it.

    And if Hiro sensei does something like a Otaku no musume-san Encore, like Ninomiya sensei did with Nodame Cantabile, please do it too.

    wait! There is the final issue to be out this december if im not wrong, its not the end YET! plus, wikipedia states that there is a total of 11 volumes, and what we got is 10 volumes. lets hope for the best

    I've been an abid follower of this series and although i was a bit dissapointed about Kouta/Haruka's relationship (i wanted a happy ending for both as a family) Great series nevertheless and as someone above said, if there are 11 volumes of this i'm going to go crazy!

    Well, I think a have arrive here a little bit late, but I just finished to read this manga and I wanted to post a comment... the end was epic, but annoying too, Haruka got a child from Kouta!!! How was that possible??? Hahaha... anyway, I hope a sequel should be launched soon because I believe Haruka deserves a proper happy ending not only an assumption that se would find her beloved at work in future. By the way, thanks a lot for posting this manga, I found it by searching another one, the title was quite interesting so i decided to search for it, and I could'nt leave reading. I have to say that I read that both in english and spanish (I have some skills in english languaje hehehe) and the last chapter that only I could found was precisely from Nicchi Scans, so, again thanks a lot for give us this masterpiece!!! Go ahead doing this marvelous work...
