Otaku no Musume-san Chapter 55(again!)

Chapter 55 is now out. See my previous post regarding the new numbering for the chapters. The releases page won't be updated until I release the extras from volume 8-9 since it will contain the fixed titles pages for most of the chapters. I had Conan fix the title pages for what are now chapters 54 and 53 already since volume 10 isn't out yet. You can find them below.

Oh, great...

So I recently got my hands on raws for vol 8-9 of Otaku no Musume-san. As I said earlier, we will not be re-releasing the complete volumes, but I have decided to release the omake pages as well as a few pages that have received a notable touch-up. These are mostly title pages. The bad news is, while looking through volume 9, I noticed Stu-Hiro decided to combine chapters 48 and 49 into one whole chapter. So basically, the chapter numbering is going to change AGAIN. For the time being I'm going to leave the numbering on the downloads page unchanged. Here is what's basically going to happen:

47 is still 47

48+49 will combine to become just 48

50 is now 49

51 is now 50

etc

So our upcoming releases will be chapter 47(no change) and 55(again). With the exception of the (old) chapter 54 and 55, I'm not going redo the title pages from the magazine scans because I am going to release the modified ones from the volumes anyway. Those will have the fixed chapter numbers.

Otaku no Musume-san Chapter 55 and Nicchi Scans' First Birthday!

It was on December 12th of last year that Nicchi Scans released it's first chapter of Otaku no Musume-san. A few months later we finally caught up to Japan's current chapter, and now release a new one every month(the author taking a break and laziness aside). I don't know how much longer this series will go on, but we'll stick with it to the very end.

Now, let's see if I can get something done before Christmas...

Edit:I have finished translating 47, but Conan and I are very busy now so it won't be done until after Christmas. Just hold tight a little longer!

Otaku no Musume-san Chapter 54

Chapter 54! Managed to find just enough time to translate this one despite how busy I've been lately. I sent the raw to Conan before the translation was finished, so that sped things up considerably.

Although I enjoyed this chapter, I'm honestly disappointed that this is all we get after having to wait 2 months. At least there will be another new one coming out in December.

And no, 47 still isn't out. You'd think I would have had it finished after having an extra month and that hint I dropped in my last post, but I've been really busy lately with work.

Yeah...

Just a reminder that there will be no new Otaku no Musume-san this month. The author is taking a break. In the meantime, I'm probably going to release some more doujinshi with Conan(including some I finished years ago, but they never got edited).

I can't help but think I've forgotten something. Hmm...

OH GOD MAKE IT STOP

Work has really been kicking my ass this week. I'm going to have some free time soon, but not before pulling a 10 hour shift tomorrow. The raw for chapter 53 will soon be in my possession, but we're going to try and release 47 first.
